In just a few short years, Cava has grown from a local DC favorite to a national fast-casual brand with a cult-like following. As a longtime design partner, our goal has always been to push the visual and verbal identity to meet the expanding needs and unify the brand across all platforms. Responsible for digital, packaging and the in-store experience (down to the custom dishware!), we created a system of products with a bold, graphic style, playful copywriting and strong typography that brings the same energy and personality whether you stay in or take it to go.
We designed the custom dishware that showcase Cava’s vibrant food with bright white, contoured interiors; yet on the flip side (literally), display Cava’s modern brand personality with matte black, textured geometry.
