We are currently looking for a resourceful and passionate junior designer to join our team in Washington, DC. This role is ideal for a highly creative candidate with strong attention to detail who is able to prioritize and adapt to ever-changing demands. You will have the unique opportunity to contribute to many types of design projects at all stages of development and grow your design skills in a small studio environment. This position is an entry-level position and does require in-person studio attendance in DC (hybrid model) and we are looking to fill it quickly, so please let us know your earliest availability.
Responsibilities:
_Develop visual identities and graphic languages for brand and editorial design projects
_Support senior team members in creating and finessing brand assets for clients
_Partner with senior team members in creating client presentations
_Contribute to all aspects of a creative design process from conceptualization to final production
_Complete ad-hoc studio requests as necessary
_Manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
_1–2 years of experience in a professional design role preferred
_BFA or BA degree in design (or equivalent experience) preferred
_A sophisticated design aesthetic and excellent typography skills
_Motivated, multi-disciplinary creator who is excited to share new ideas
_A growing expert in the Adobe Creative Suite (in particular: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects)
_Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to reference, analyze and articulate design
_Self-motivated, can work collaboratively in a small group setting
_Meticulous about design details, and with great organizational skills
_Other creative assets: photography, illustration, coding and 3d modeling are always a plus
_Enthusiastic and positive attitude
_Skills in Figma, Blender or Cinema 4d a plus

_The ability to think verbally and experiment visually in a variety of media
