At Belleville, or BLVL, in Portland, Maine, the quest is painstaking but simple—to create an authentic, world-class bakery that transports you. Chris and Amy Deutsch’s corner bakery specializes in French pastries and pizza al taglio, Italy’s cut-to-order pizza (yes, with scissors).
